The art students expressed their creativity by creating three-dimensional objects using a variety of forming techniques to create animals, characters, cups and more. They also learned that clay has a long history around the world. Since this was air dry clay, students finished their masterpieces with acrylic paint that will be sealed with gloss acrylic and be decorative works(not food safe).
The students clay pieces will be on display at our Pagosa Family School End-of-the-Year showcase Evening on May 4th and can go home after the event.
Thank you again Joe and Kristi Bush for your generosity in donating clay to Pagosa Family School!!!
