FAQ's on Safely Opening Archuleta Schools Together

In anticipation of the 2020-2021 school year, Archuleta School District is creating a detailed Frequently Asked Questions page that can be found on our website. The questions for our FAQ's are being pulled from the questions we have collected from our staff and families during our ZOOM meetings. The page will be updated periodically as new information is released.

These will be available to families at the high school between 9 am and noon.

Summer Food Delivery Bus Stops and Times

This summer, the school district has received a grant to provide sack meals (breakfast and lunch) to children from the age of 0-18. We have modified the routes to better serve our community. Please make sure you double check the time that your stop is receiving sack meals. If you have any questions, please call the Transportation Department at 970-264-0392 ext 608.

Schools join in to Be The Light for Their Students in Colorado

Tonight, and every Friday until we return to our normal activity, the lights of Golden Peaks Stadium will be turned on as a symbol of hope - our hope to see you all again soon. Be strong and be safe as you work from home and know that you are never far from our hearts and minds. We are in this together!

During this time, we ask that you “Be the light” to others. Our challenge is for you to call and reach out to someone (a friend, loved one, family member) each and every day to be the light for them. Please encourage those people to be the light for someone else. TOGETHER, we will continue to shine through this adversity.

Please do not stop by the stadium, but feel free to drive by. Videos and pictures will be posted on social media.

Action shots of our amazing food service team filling sack lunches and breakfasts' for ASD students

Admist our recent school closures, ASD’s administration team, food service team and transportation team have developed a plan to continue to be able to provide meals for our students while they move into distance learning from home.
We caught Brenda and Leticia 'in action' as they filled sack lunches and breakfast for the kiddos.

HUGE thank you to our food service teams and transportation teams for all of your efforts to ensure that we are able to continue providing meals for our students. #weareASDproud
